At Elucidations.ca, each piece is lovingly handcrafted to blend artistry, sustainability, and function. To preserve the beauty and longevity of your items, please follow the care tips below based on where and how they’re used.
💡 General Care
Our creations are designed for their intended purpose, some for indoor display, others for outdoor enjoyment.
• Keep Dry: The eco-resin material is water sensitive. Avoid placing pieces in humid or damp areas for prolonged periods.
• Clean Gently: Use a soft, dry, or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, alcohol-based products, or abrasive cleaners that can damage the surface.
🌤 For Outdoor Products
• While our outdoor pieces are crafted for durability, long-term exposure to direct sunlight may cause color fading or surface dulling over time.
• To maintain vibrancy, place items in shaded or semi-covered areas whenever possible.
• If using the piece as a planter, vase, or water display, always insert a waterproof liner or insert to prevent water absorption or discoloration.
• During extreme weather conditions, we recommend bringing items indoors to extend their lifespan.
🍽 For Bowls Intended for Food Use
• Select bowls are finished with a food-safe wax sealant, suitable for dry, non-liquid foods such as fruits, nuts, and snacks.
• Avoid contact with oily, acidic, or wet foods to protect the finish.
• Hand-wipe only using a dry or slightly damp cloth, do not soak, scrub, or place in the dishwasher.
🕯 For Decorative Bowls, Trays & Holders
• Unless specified as food-safe, these items are decorative only.
• Avoid contact with oils or colored liquids, as they may stain the surface. Wipe immediately if spills occur.
🕯 For Candle Holders & Vases
• Always use on a heat-resistant surface when burning candles.
• Avoid direct water contact. If displaying fresh flowers or liquids, use a removable waterproof insert or opt for an item specifically made for outdoor or wet use.
🧽 Handling & Storage
• Handle with care. Although durable, pieces can chip, crack, or break if dropped or knocked.
• Store in a cool, dry location when not in use.

During this call, we’ll discuss all the details, preferred colors, quantities, packaging, and any special design requests to ensure every piece perfectly reflects your occasion.
4. Production & Delivery: Each piece is handcrafted with care in Ontario. Please allow a customized production timeline, which will be shared during your consultation.

All orders are processed within **1–5 business days**. Once your order is ready, it will be shipped, and a confirmation email with tracking details will be sent to you.

At Elucidations.ca, every piece is lovingly handcrafted with care, precision, and artistic intention. Because of the handmade nature of our products, each item is truly unique, no two pieces are ever identical. To ensure transparency and understanding, please review our refund and return policy below.
🛍 All Sales Are Final
As all items are individually handcrafted, we are unable to accept returns, refunds, or exchanges due to change of mind, color variation, or minor imperfections that are inherent to the handmade process.
These subtle differences are part of what make each Elucidations.ca piece special and one-of-a-kind.
🌿 Damaged or Defective Items
We take great pride in the quality of our work and package each item with care. However, if your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 3 days of delivery so we can make it right.

Once reviewed, we’ll gladly arrange a replacement or issue store credit, depending on the situation.
📦 Lost or Missing Orders
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered by the carrier.
However, we’re happy to assist you in filing a claim or provide guidance on next steps with the shipping provider.
⏳ Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, please email Elucidations.ca@gmail.com within 12 hours of placing it.
After this period, production may have already begun and cancellation may no longer be possible.

Hi, I’m Olajumoke but you can call me Jay the hands and heart behind Elucidations.ca. I’m a self-taught multimedia craft artist, a wife, and a proud mom who finds joy in creating beautiful, intentional pieces for the home.
My work blends eco-resin, epoxy resin, textured art, paper craft, and graphic design, allowing me to explore different mediums and express creativity without limits. Every piece is handcrafted with care, inspired by everyday moments, motherhood, and the desire to bring warmth and style into your space.
